FixVTF is a Wikipedia icon data conversion program written by Snakez. It converts Episode 2 format (VTF 7.3/7.4) materials to the previous Half-Life 2: Episode One Half-Life 2: Episode One (VTF 7.2 and older) format. Hammer Hammer 4.x used Half-Life 2: Episode One Half-Life 2: Episode One format materials, models and maps until the official release of the Orange Box on October 10, 2007, after which point FixVTF became essentially obsolete. For many years, no working downloads of this program were able to be found, and it became lost media until October 13, 2023 when a working download was found again.
