FixVTF (Contribution)

(using Template:Message)  Thanks for finding FixVTF, I think explaining the logic of this program in the article will also be useful, as far as I saw you understand this. Thank you!

(using Template:Message)  From what I can tell it just downgrades the VTF version number from 7.3/7.4 to 7.2 which is already explained in the article.

(using Template:Message)  I mean the logic of the program (replacing lines in Hex)

(using Template:Message)  functionally I have no clue how it works other than editing the offset values at 00000000 blocks 04 and 08. Okay, sorry for the this, I misunderstood you. --NOUG4AT (talk) 15:10, 14 Oct 2023 --TF2CutContent (talk) 4:02, 14 Oct 2023 (UTC) --NOUG4AT (talk) 3:18, 14 Oct 2023 (UTC) --TF2CutContent (talk) 3:03, 14 Oct 2023 (UTC) --NOUG4AT (talk) 14:25, 13 Oct 2023 (UTC)

Template update (contribution)

(using Template:Message) Hey thanks for updating the template! As well as correcting shortcomings in sourcesdktools/goldsrctools (in particular mine). Also for checking the hl modding kit, I didn’t check it myself, but it looks like I was mistaken when I decided to separate it into a separate tool. "Early":It looks like I made a mistake when I indicated this "programm" in the tools (goldsrc sdk), since it seems to be a collection of other people's programs. Please, if you can, clarify, I can't check it myself yet. Otherwise, please indicate this page for deletion. Happy to help! I did the GoldSrc template rework on my phone, so that was fun 😅 --TF2CutContent (talk) 8:18, 20 Nov 2023 --NOUG4AT (talk) 8:06, 20 Nov 2023 (UTC)

Hey. I see that you are subjecting templates to so-called standardization, is there a need to have documentation for such templates? Also wouldn't it be helpful to write the application in the documentation?
I also see that you are improving the design and it looks better now, thanks for it.
Here are a couple more templates that are not configured so to speak.

it's mostly a standardization of CSS elements in use on all the different navboxes. I'm gonna be doing a lot of template work to add documentation for usage, even if the template is as simple as say, the tf games navbox which doesn't have any parameters. Sure, I could agree that maybe documentation isn't necessary for a navbox template but I add it anyway so that when I'm done, every template will have documentation. Thanks for pointing those templates out, I'll eventually get to fixing those ones up. Okay, thanks anyway for your work on improving this wiki! --NOUG4AT (talk) 4:52, 28 Nov 2023 --TF2CutContent (talk) 4:36, 28 Nov 2023 --NOUG4AT (talk) 3:41, 28 Nov 2023

Does Mapbase belong on Template:branch-navbox?

Hey man, I'm asking all active editors of the VDC to respond to the survey on my user page on whether or not Mapbase is an engine branch or not. I would like it if you submitted a response! --Equalizer5118 (talk) 17:05, 12 Jan 2024
