FixVTF is a 
 data conversion program written by Snakez. It converts 
 Half-Life 2: Episode Two format (VTF 7.3/7.4) materials to the previous 
 Half-Life 2: Episode One (VTF 7.2 and older) format. 
 Hammer 4.x used 
 Half-Life 2: Episode One format materials, models and maps until the official release of 
 The Orange Box on October 10, 2007, after which point FixVTF became essentially obsolete. For some years this program was not available for direct download.
