The Anti-Mass Spectrometer. This is the place where the player, Dr. Gordon Freeman, causes the Black Mesa incident.

Half-Life Half-Life (1998), Valve's debut title, blends action and adventure with award-winning technology to create a frighteningly realistic world where players must think to survive. Named Game of the Year by over 50 publications, it also includes an exciting multiplayer mode that allows you to play against friends and enemies around the world.

Half-Life is also the debut of the GoldSrc GoldSrc engine. Its successor, Half-Life 2 Half-Life 2, is built on the newer Source Source engine.
