Getting Started

Using the Half-Life SDK

Warning.pngWarning:The Half-Life SDK contains outdated tools that have been deprecated by more modern tools over the years. Use J.A.C.K. J.A.C.K. or TrenchBroom TrenchBroom to edit maps and VHLT to compile them. Only install the Half-Life SDK for certain source files or to precisely match a vanilla map's lighting.

Using Third-Party Software

Tip.pngTip:Most GoldSrc mappers use J.A.C.K.
