Lista de texturas del cielo
Esta es la lista de texturas del cielo disponible en juegos con motor Source y GoldSrc, junto con imágenes de cada cielo. Las configuraciones para la entidad light_environment
que aparecen en la lista (ángulo del sol ideal, brillo ideal, etc.), son sugerencias basadas en las configuraciones utilizadas en los mapas oficiales, se pueden utilizar otros valores que probablemente sean apropiados también. Para probar los cielos sin volver a compilar el mapa, se puede abrir la consola y introducir el comando sv_skyname <nombredelcielo>
, usando el guardado rápido y cargando la partida guardada. Esto reemplazará el cielo anterior y temporalmente mostrará el que ha sido cargado por el comando anterior.

Nota:Newer or standalone games, such as the serie Left 4 Dead, Portal 2, or Counter-Strike: Global Offensive do not ship with, nor using base HL2 content, and as such may not necessarily include these skyboxes. The skybox VTFs and VMTs from HL2 can be used in any Source engine game, however.
HDR versions of all skyboxes except Nota:While Source 2006 does support HDR, all Half-Life 2 default skyboxes (except Lost Coast) on this branch does not support HDR at all.
