This page is for any games and software/tools that don't require Steam to run (or have their own DRM). This includes DRM-free games which are legally available outside of Steam.

DRM-free games that require Steam in order to unlock more features such as achievements, such as Half-Life 2 Half-Life 2, should not be listed here.
Games which formerly used WON, but have been updated to use Steam, such as Half-Life Half-Life, should not be listed here either.
Games release on consoles should use the Console Games subcategory instead.
