Counter-Strike Online
Counter-Strike Online (CSO) is a MMO free-to-play spinoff of Counter-Strike: Condition Zero with new weapons, skins, microtransactions and custom gamemodes which is developed by Nexon Corporation, with oversight from license-holder Valve Corporation. Unlike other Valve games, this version of Counter-Strike will not require Steam to play. It's also restricted most of the feature on the GoldSrc engine, such as the Developer console being limited to certain commands, and the game files are completely packed differently than other Valve games, in a more proprietary formats to prevent the game contents being leaked. The game also doesn't use VAC, instead using various anti-cheat middleware such as BlackCipher (developed in-house by Nexon Korea).
Counter-Strike Online is targeted at the Asian games markets. A global (worldwide) version known as 
Counter-Strike Nexon was later released in 2014 on Steam.
