All DoD:S specific entities, should probably be given the <Day of Defeat: Source> icon, but the problem is that I don't know if even the ones with the dod_ prefix refers to DoD or DoD:S. --Andreasen 09:31, 11 Apr 2006 (PDT)

I saw that you could set Hammer up to map for DoD:S despite not having bought DoD:S, and thought I could check out the DoD:S entities this way, but then I noticed half of the entities were missing, along with all the weapons, so I can't. --Andreasen 14:53, 20 Apr 2006 (PDT)

FGD problems!

Hi Andreasen and everyone at Valve. Im having a bit of a problem here. Iv'e downloaded the modded FGD to make a bomb-map but hey, when i try to find the enteties that you say should be included (both the solid ones and point-based) is missing. The only change i can see in this FGD is that it shows the real player models instead of the green. But i can't find the dod_bomb* enteties.

Please help me, iv'e come up with a great map and now i can't build it!

The modified fgd does not include the detonation ents...you can rely on the docs here tho—ts2do 13:45, 16 Jul 2006 (PDT)
What docs shall i rely on there? There are nothing i can see that has to do with DoD:S and bomb-maps (if im not wrong).
I asume that there must be some way of getting hold of an .fgd that includes the bomb enteties, am i right?

dod_bomb_dispenser and dod_bomb_target are the currently documented ents.
Sorry for being sutch a "pain in the ass" but am i suposed to use this to mod my current dod.fgd?

And if that is the case, can you give me a link to a tutorial that shows me how to do that, becaue, i have no idea how to.

You can if you want, but it will be easier to type the entity names into a brush entity, and set any properties manually (i.e. turn of SmartEdit with the button). --TomEdwards 01:57, 18 Jul 2006 (PDT)
