Crowbar это инструмент, созданный пользователем ZeqMacaw.

Его первоначальное предназначение заключалось в том, чтобы стать заменой MDLDecompiler, созданный благодаря Cannonfodder. MDLDecompiler не обновлялся уже много лет и не может полностью декомпилировать последние версии моделей, используемых в играх на движке Source. Crowbar разрабатывается для работы с более поздними версиями движка.

Особенности программы
- Поддерживается движками GoldSource и Source Engine.
- Просмотр, упаковка и распаковка .VPK архивов, .GMA и .FPX формата файла. Либо по отдельности, либо сразу целую папку с файлами.
- Компиляция и декомпиляция целой папки файлов в пакетном процессе.
- Интерфейс просмотра моделей для инструмента Half-Life Model Viewer.
- Просмотр содержимого файла модели. Полезно узнать, какая версия файла MDL используется, какие ANI и PHY файлы используются, какие текстуры используются и в каких папках они находятся.
- Настройка игр для легкого переключения компиляции с одного исходного движка игры на другой. Полезно для того, чтобы убедиться, что вы используете правильный компилятор для каждой игры.
- Загрузчик предметов Мастерской из любой игры Steam, в которой разрешено публичное скачивание.
- Публикация аддонов в Мастерскую Steam, в качестве альтернативы оригинальному загрузчику.
