Counter-Strike is a series of predominantly multiplayer tactical FPS games.

The Counter-Strike series consists of the following games:

Originally known as Half-Life: Counter-Strike. Commonly and retroactively referred to as Counter-Strike 1.6 by the community in order to distinguish from later titles.
Wiki Note:Counter-Strike Counter-Strike, Counter-Strike: Condition Zero Counter-Strike: Condition Zero, and Condition Zero Deleted Scenes Condition Zero Deleted Scenes are collectively referred to as the Counter-Strike 1 series on this wiki.
