Half-Life (PS2) engine branch was made by Gearbox Software it is port of the Half-Life (Dreamcast) engine branch to the PlayStation 2 and adds LOD models.
Features
New since the Half-Life (Dreamcast) engine branch is:
- HD models
- Higher quality models make the world of Half-Life far more immersive
- Split-screen
- Added for Half-Life: Decay, players on console can now battle side by side
- LOD models
- Compressed model textures
- Facial, eye, and finger movement
