Hey man, welcome back

(using Template:Message)  Good to see you active again! Some stuff has changed a little in your absence. {{Software page}} has not really been heavily edited, but some features (metacritic reviews for example) have been added.

Most notably, {{entity}} has been combined with {{console command}}/variable and {{shader}} into {{This is a}}, with slightly different parameters.

Other than that, the wiki is very similar to how you left it. Another user, User:Lxm6, has been banned, but other then that nothing has changed.

It's great that all the templates listed are now part of {{This is a}}. All that remains now is to make a massive replacement of the code in the articles

Also, it’s strange for me to hear that Lxm6 was banned, but as I understand it, there was a good reason. I'll find out the details of this a little later.

As for the changes to {{Software page}}, this is not how I imagined the review panel to be, but I like it. I also like the fact that nothing broke during my absence  --Another OWL (talk) 10:53, 20 Sep 2023 (UTC)

(using Template:Message)  Beside from that, templates such as {{Game release}}, {{Game release free}}, {{Software release}}, etc... (and similar), was being merged into one template, {{Software status}}, which would be soon deprecating all the previous one once it has all the features that these old template has. The code for that newer one was also much cleaner aswell with the use of strings subpage for translations.

Another template, {{tl}} was being deprecated in favor of {{tl2}} (or {{t}} as shortcut), which actually existed prior to this being added and was imported from Wikipedia with some modifications. That one automatically adds links unlike {{tl}} template.  --Kr0tchet (talk) 4:46, 26 Sep 2023 (UTC)

What do you mean by banners? If you are talking about an animated avatar frame, then you can either make it yourself or take it from Steam. It's a simple animated PNG in both cases.  --Another OWL (talk) 10:33, 20 Sep 2023 (UTC)

(using Template:Message)  No, fortunately, it's not fighting in the war (I'm in the army, but not in the war).

Smartphones and such are not allowed in the army due to security reasons, but I am currently in a place where this rule does not exist, however, I will soon return to a military base, which means I will not be able to continue working on VDC for a while.  --Another OWL (talk) 21:54, 20 Sep 2023 (UTC)

(using Template:Message) Несмотря на то, что было перенесено. Dota 2 Workshop Tools:ru все еще имеет много подстраниц (больше 10 точно) и непонятные редиректы. Предполагаю что есть еще страницы. В поисковике можно посмотреть если ввести. Пишу, так как главная страница была указана к удалению, хотя многие страницы все еще остаются...
