COF & Paranoia branches
EvilEMG 13:26, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
Hello again! I've been putting off creating a Cry of Fear engine branch page but recently delved back into it. Turns out it's connected to the Paranoia branch (which you pointed out, actually!) and I'm unsure if Cry of Fear tweaked it a bit or just used the Paranoia branch outright. I'm debating whether to have separate pages for COF and Paranoia... or just one combined page. Since info is scarce and Paranoia features also apply to COF, I'd like to hear your opinion on this! What do? :)

Hello. I meant that, in fact, Cry of Fear has paranoia’s roots. But perhaps it would be worth pointing out that this has progressed much further than just using code of paranoia, since a lot of new things have actually been implemented in COF, and the banal presence of multiplayer already speaks volumes (and the graphics... the water effects) And I’ll remind that paranoia is exclusively singleplayer mod. I consider both options that you presented acceptable. It would be quite correct to create an article about the both engines, with information I will try to help you and supplement it with what is possible.

Sounds good! I'll go ahead and create both pages. Also greatly appreciate the help, this is awesome!!
Protagonists
EvilEMG 18:00, 5 March 2024 (UTC)
Hello! I apologize for coming to you for every little thing. I feel somewhat guilty but I'd rather not risk making a mistake! So while I was updating the Riot Act article, I was wondering if mods' protagonists should have separate pages, stay within the mod page, or not be mentioned. I checked other pages for inspiration, but most lack templates and aren't recent. And if I DID create them, the only thing I'd have available would be the Gordon Freeman page.
Just imagine Entropy: Zero, a standalone article for Bad Cop, diving into details like his personality, story, appearances, voice actor... Or The Patient from Nightmare House 2, or The Protagonist from Swelter, or Adam Ivanov from Logistique... I've got a whole list.

Hello! It's okay if you need something. I am always ready to help or advise you on anything. I think it is possible to create separate pages for the characters (of mods and etc); this is quite correct, and besides, there are already same several pages.
EvilEMG 18:38, 5 March 2024 (UTC)
I see. I asked since those pages are from Half-Life 2 characters and there's none specifically for mod characters. Neat, thanks again! :D

Well, you will be the first to do this for the mod... PS, I think this is a pretty good idea.

Good afternoon NOUG4AT, I was wondering if you could possibly help out with adding a feature to the Wikichievements, I think it would be a good idea to add a scroll feature to the userbox version if possible as it seems to overflow and look really bad. I figured I would ask you as your more experienced with template coding than me

Hi! Well, to be honest, I don't understand what you want, what exactly do you want to expand? The achievements? I made some edits to your profile, take a look and undo it if it ruined the look.
Seal Enthusiast 19:28, 8 March 2024 (UTC+10:30)
Sorry I should probably be more specific as it does not translate well to russian, the user box version appears to cut off achievements if you have around 5 of them, I was wondering if you could add a feature where you can drag left or right to allow you to see all of them

Ah, thank you! I understood. Well... i think its can be implemented.

Hey, I saw the vandalism on the recent changes page. I'm glad it was taken care of pretty quickly!
Noug4at 19:53, 25 March 2024 (UTC+7:30)
Hey! Yes, it was. Thank you if you find it, either delete it or notify about it. Looks like HaammerEditoor is having an spring aggravation, we need to be on guard xD
DavidSon713 12:30, 25 March 2024 (UTC)
I will definitely be sure to deal with it, when I saw it you guys got to it immediately haha. LOL, yeah!

Networking Entities
N0one 21:09, 11 April 2024 (UTC+2)
Since i saw you the latest editor for Networking Entities, i wanted to say if you could help me because i keep getting blocked by the website from unknown reason, i moved the page and subpages since the Lang template is Deprecated, Networking Entities/en needs to be replaced with Langsp, could you help?
Noug4at 11:36, 12 April 2024 (UTC+7:30)
Most likely I edited the section separately, because I was also blocked by cloudflare.
Max_34 10:44, 12 April 2024 (UTC+4)
This is due to the fact that the site prohibits working with databases directly, so there are times when plain text can be perceived as a request to the database and therefore “blocking” occurs. For example, this text
(select hl2, portal2 and some mods from my library)
will lead to this on pages Networking Entities/en and Prediction, but everything will be fine on page Source Multiplayer Networking and discussion pages, so this “bug” does not work everywhere.
Question about ModSoftware
strubium 12:46, 15 April 2024 (UTC)
Hi NOUG4AT, I have some questions about what you added to ModSoftware's deletion info. What do you mean when you say "unnecessary formatting" I figured it would replace mods using <b> as those don't look very nice and its useless to create a bunch of {{software}} for unknown mods
