Administration

(using Template:Message)  This wiki needs administrators or moderators who will actively monitor and maintain the wiki. I think we can all agree that in the wiki's current state, anyone could just waltz right in and cause havoc if they so desired.  --Cinnamip (talk) 2:39, 25 Jul 2023 (UTC)

(using Template:Message)  The most recent disruptive user that I know about has just been banned, at least. So apparently there are steps taken if the right person knows about something.  --Popcorn (talk) 20:55, 25 Jul 2023 (UTC)

User moderation

Resolved.

(using Template:Message)  A user by the name of Lxm6 has been in constant fights with SirYodaJedi. This is supposed to be a wiki of modders that help other modders, but it is increasingly becoming another drama hole. It should be clear that action needs to be taken on one or both of these accounts and moderators should be appointed. These actions are completely inappropriate for this wiki and should not continue.  --Equalizer5118 (talk) 6:44, 31 Jul 2023 (UTC)

Two request - Changing username and spam filter issue on YT link template.

(using Template:Message)  Simple request.
1. Change my username to LeonidaKarlach
Resolved. 2. Fix the spam filter on the {{Youtube/doc}} (documentation subpage for YouTube link templates), adding any video links or playlist link examples would trigger spam filter, due to this, I had to comment out the rest of the example temporarily. EDIT: the second one was partially solved by using full youtube.com domains, but the youtu.be links remain blocked.  --Kr0tchet (talk) 17:23, 29 Aug 2023 (UTC)

(using Template:Message) I'm not able to change your username without merging you to a new account. The YouTube links should hopefully be fixed now. --PabloS (talk) 17:54, 16 Jun 2024 (UTC)

Counter-Strike 2 Workshop tools and the sidebar

Resolved.

(using Template:Message)  As Counter-Strike 2 and its workshop tools are now released could the admins put it on the sidebar like every other Workshop toolkit/SDK.  --Seal Enthusiast (talk) 11:16, 12 Sep 2023 (UTC)

User Style CSS

(using Template:Message)  Please add User Style CSS to this MediaWiki so that nobody has to edit Common.css to fix the style issues when editing or using search.  --Karl-police (talk) 19:19, 13 Oct 2023 (UTC)

(using Template:Message) Common.css is the styling CSS. I'm not sure what you mean here. --PabloS (talk) 17:57, 16 Jun 2024 (UTC)

Troll/spam account Viktini324

Resolved.

(using Template:Message) The user Viktini324 has been trolling on the Talk:Counter-Strike 2 page, and in recent edit history has only edited talk pages with insulting or improper content [1], along with creating useless pages [2].

(using Template:Message) I saw his activity, and I am also against it! He offers stupid ideas and creates unnecessary spam pages. Can this account be reported as spam? I didn’t notice any useful edits on his part. --NOUG4AT (talk) 16:14, 17 Oct 2023 (UTC) --Equalizer5118 (talk) 16:06, 17 Oct 2023 (UTC)

(using Template:Message) Got some evidence of use of slurs.

Sucks people like this exist, hate breeds hate

--Seal Enthusiast (talk) 10:57, 18 Oct 2023 (UTC)

Username change

Resolved.

(using Template:Message) Hello, I was wondering if it was possible to change my username from JacobsDevelop to GabrielV --JacobsDevelop (talk) 16:13, 7 Dec 2023 (UTC)

Wake up Valve admins - Ban trolls such as User:HaammerEditoor.

Resolved.

(using Template:Message) Reposted to correct page this time. Anyway this wiki is becoming more like TF2 bot problem and for days, User:HaammerEditoor (unknown whether this is a sock of User:HammerEditor, but it could be another user/troll), previously vandalized several pages and causing Template:Sdktools to briefly not load (timed out), most likely an attempt to DDOS/XSS, the same user later also trolls various users on this wiki, with sarcastic apology. Valve/wiki admins should do something about this. --Kr0tchet (talk) 12:45, 31 Mar 2024 (UTC)

Sidebar notices

Resolved.

(using Template:Message) The sidebar discussion page has three important notices regarding the sidebar (although the second one is more of a suggestion). --Wisdurm (talk) 21:59, 14 Jun 2024 (UTC)

We need access to these pages

MediaWiki:Common.css

(using Template:Message) Template:Text --THE OWL (talk) 10:25, 16 Jun 2024 (UTC)

(using Template:Message) I can't give you access to Common.css for technical and security reasons and I can't add mobile styling due to me not having the ability to modify the wiki from the server. I'm willing to make changes for users if they're recommended on MediaWiki talk:Common.css. --PabloS (talk) 18:05, 16 Jun 2024 (UTC)
