Talk:Difference Between Non-standalone and standalone mods

Why does this exist?

Most of the people using this wiki likely already know this information, but even if they don't, this distinction can be made on any page. There doesn't need to be an entire page just for one distinction, when information on this can be found in just one internet search (point and case: [1]). This page does not need to exist. -Equalizer5118, an idiot who cant spel (talk) 08:57, 8 November 2023 (PST)

I think so too, there is no need for such a page at all. I suggest removing it. In addition, some information in the article regarding games/standalone mods is questionable. - NOUG4AT (talk) 08:59, 8 November 2023 (PST)
Agreed. Here are many problems:
  • First, Half-Life: MMod is standalone on steam.
  • Second, CSS, L4D(2), TF2 are not even mods, they are games
  • Third, in what universe is HL2 a mod of CSS?
  • There are no mods for tf2. Any TF2 ModS are actually Source 2013 Multiplayer mods
