Jabroni Brawl: Episode 3 Jabroni Brawl: Episode 3 is a massive collection of game-modes, maps, and weapons, built by an enormous group of modders using the magic of the Source engine. First started in 2012, JB3 expands upon what made the Half-Life mod scene great by combining ideas and concepts from various Half-Life 1 and 2 mods, such as Rocket Crowbar, Scientist Hunt, Jaykin Bacon, and many more. In addition, this game seeks to pay tribute to Valve's vast library of games, as players will be treated to an assortment of maps and player models taken from or inspired by various Valve games. We've also thrown in our own original ideas, with the end result being a silly but fun online deathmatch experience.

Jabroni Brawl: Episode 3 is based on Counter-Strike: Global Offensive's engine branch. Therefore, much of the documentation on this wiki pertaining to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive may also apply to Jabroni Brawl: Episode 3.

Features

  • Made on Valve's most up-to-date Source 1 Engine (CSGO).
  • Over 7 game modes inspired by many Half-Life 1 mods.
  • Over 50 weapons with their own unique abilities.
  • Over 40 original maps.
  • Over 100 player models both original and some guest stars.
  • Extensively customizable via console commands.
  • "Mapadd" system to make any map work with Jabroni Brawl: Episode 3 without recompiling or entity lump editing.
  • Supports all entities from Half-Life Deathmatch: Source and Half-Life 2: Deathmatch. (Change weapons to jb_pickup, and deathmatch spawns to jb_spawn_all)
  • func_vehicle as a right, not a privilege.
  • Support for loading BSPs with versions varying from 19 to 22.
  • Partial GoldSrc GoldSrc BSP support.
Warning.pngWarning:Although some GoldSrc GoldSrc maps can indeed be launched, they work incorrectly. There are poor collisions and there are problems with lighting, textures and scripts.

Maps

Note.pngNote:If a map is unchanged besides replacing entities with those designed for Jabroni Brawl: Episode 3, recompiling, and minor optimizations, then it qualifies as a "port".
