Hazard Course is a chapter in Half-Life, designed to teaching player how to play the game. This chapter was later expanded on the
PlayStation 2 version, adding a cutscene in which a Black Mesa scientist explains the risks of potential injuries Gordon may receive during the training course, as well as introducing the additional room teaching the player to use the lock-on feature present in the console edition of the game.
Introduction
- "Hello and welcome to the Black Mesa Hazard Course, where you'll be trained in the use of a hazardous environment suit. I am your holographic assistant. Let's begin by stepping into your suit. You can see it suspended up ahead of you."
