Documentation

This template is used to create a link to the Steam client and perform various Steam-related functions.

See Steam browser protocol for more information, and for more commands.

Syntax

{{Steam|''<steam command>''|''<optional link title>''}}

If the Steam command is not specified, the link, if clicked, will open the default Steam window that was specified in Steam Settings > Inferface > Start Up Location.

Examples

{{Steam|open/games}} will produce: steam://open/games, which opens the Steam My Games list.
{{Steam|store/240|Buy Counter-Strike Source}} will produce: Buy Counter-Strike Source and will open the Steam Store on the Steam client to the Counter-Strike: Source page when clicked.
{{Steam|url/gamehub/620|View Portal 2 on Steam Community}} will produce: View Portal 2 on Steam Community and will open the Steam Community page for Portal 2 on the Steam client when clicked.
