(I have my doubts that the PS2 port was based upon the Dreamcast port. Code was used (as confirmed by the credits,) but I think both ports were developed independently. Will leave it as a Citation Needed.)
(Condition Zero's engine is explicitly the engine that shipped on Steam. Engine versions pre-dating CSCZ's release are able to run the game whereas versions made prior can not, such as Day of Defeat and v1.1. Counter-Strike 1.6 shares its client and server with Condition Zero, so anything CZero needs CS1.6 also needs.)
