Portal 2: Community Edition instead, which also will have proper Workshop support.
Note:The game can be unofficially run on Windows 7, 8, 8.1, however Steam support for these systems have been already dropped which may cause issues in the future and plus, bugs & crash report and support for these older operating systems will be ignored by the developers. Additionally, CPU and/or GPU below the system requirements or the one that matches the 
Portal 2 may be able to run the game on lower settings.

Portal: Revolution is a fan-made campaign of Portal 2, taking place soon after GlaDOS's demise in the original Portal. This is the first Source game to use the 
Strata Source engine branch, which is a heavily modified version of Source engine that combines the code of 
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Portal 2 and add various new features to bring it closer to modern standards.
