Agree with Equalizer5118 that this page should be preserved and locked (before CS2-related changes were added) with a new CS2 page being created. As Equalizer5118 also stated this is a sub-page of CSGO and not CS2. As a developer of a game server management tool, I have to understand over 100 different games. Meaning I am not an expert in CS game modes but need a quick reference. I currently find this page confusing and overwhelming. Hivltg64 (talk) 21:53, 8 Nov 2023

Older Versions of this page at CSGO Game Mode Commands
I had made the mistake not to move this page properly, so the versions of this page are incomplete. Not sure if there's a proper way to merge the pages' versions. --Popcorn (talk) 14:23, 16 February 2022 (PST)

Not actually commands.

This topic is mixing console variables to console commands. These two have different action on SRCDS.
- While reading this page, take it as "grain of salt".

Absolutely true, never realized that since I work on this page. --Popcorn (talk) 14:23, 16 February 2022 (PST)

Removal of delisted: Why?

This page specifically refers to CSGO game modes, many of which are not present in CS2 (arms race, danger zone, etc), and it is a subpage of CSGO. CS2 gamemodes should be on their own page, and not use a page for a delisted game. Also, CSGO is delisted, so that notice should be there. It is referring to CSGO, and not CS2, so the notice should still be present. Even if this page doesn't get moved for CS2 gamemodes get ported to their own page, the delisted notice should remain, as CSGO is delisted Equalizer5118 (talk) 16:13, 4 Oct 2023 (UTC)

You're completely right that CS:GO is delisted but that is not the point. A few days ago, I wrote something at Template talk:Delisted#Purpose that you've probably overlooked.
To get specific about this page: Until now, there is no reason to not use this page for CS2 since it is still in development and you can expect CS:GO's other game modes to be added to the game soon. All game modes and skirmish modes from CS:GO can already be found in CS2 in the exact same files that are named on this page. Currently, maps can already be launched in these game modes, just that the modes may not function correctly yet. Duplicating this page for two games can wait since I can't see that there will be crucial differences between the games Popcorn (talk) 9:33, 5 Oct 2023 (UTC)
Agree with Equalizer5118 that this page should be preserved and locked (before CS2-related changes were added) with a new CS2 page being created. As Equalizer5118 also stated this is a sub-page of Counter-Strike:_Global_Offensive Hivltg64 (talk) 21:53, 8 Nov 2023 (UTC)
