blob_element is a model entity available in Half-Life 2 Half-Life 2 and Half-Life 2: Lost Coast Half-Life 2: Lost Coast. These are normally created and managed by an npc_blob

This entity is only in Half-Life 2 and the 2013 SDK. Not even the Episodes have it.
