In all games using the {{tfbranch|4}}, the game has been upgraded to use Bink 2. In {{stratabranch|4}}, aswell as {{csgobranch|4}} (since Panorama), it's was replaced by WebM.

BIK files are video or image files created using Bink, as part of RAD Video Tools. The startup video that plays on all Valve games (since the Source 2007 Source 2007 update) is a .bik file. They are also used in the menu backgrounds and the elevator screens in Portal 2 Portal 2

In all games using the Titanfall branch Titanfall branch, the engine has been upgraded to use Bink 2.
In the CS:GO engine branch CS:GO engine branch (since Panorama), as well as Strata Source Strata Source, it's was replaced by WEBM.
