Quotes from [[Half-Life 2]] suggests that the Nihilanth was a [[Combine]] product. Judging by its appearance, a cybernetically and genetically enhanced [[Alien Controller]] that had been controlling the [[Vortigaunt]]s for eons, much like [[Dr. Wallace Breen|Breen]] controlled the human race before [[Dr. Gordon Freeman|Gordon]] managed to destroy the citadel of [[City 17]].

The model's UV was in some places offset by 1 which caused the compiler to store an almost twice as big texture as needed.
