Something like this would probably be better with a S_PreserveEnts#Behavior issues that come with it instead of listing it on every page. Not sure about the icon though I just took the one from {{Important}} notice. --Nescius (talk) 08:45, 2 May 2025 (PDT)

Sure. I suppose we could just have the currently listed caveats on the s_PreserveEnts page? Not sure why they aren't already. If you want a unique icon, something along the lines of this could probably work, or perhaps a recycle ♻️ symbol.

Hmm not a bad idea --Nescius (talk) 12:04, 2 May 2025 (PDT)
A unique icon (and color?) would be great for its recognition value. I already like the recycle symbol. --popcorn (talk) 18:27, 2 May 2025 (PDT)
Seems to look fine terror_gamerules --Nescius (talk) 01:43, 4 May 2025 (PDT)

probably not worth mentioning

Not sure if it's worth mentioning if non-existent entity is preserved in some game. I removed some of those occurences from Template:PreservedEnt/switch like for example info_nodes and func_buyzone being preserved in l4d2 because those entities are not present in l4d2. Probably looks more confusing and it's not really too useful information. For example info_node would be confusing to look at if it said "this entity is preserved in Left 4 Dead seriesLeft 4 Dead series" and at the same time right below it says "available in all games except Left 4 Dead seriesLeft 4 Dead series" --Nescius (talk) 07:55, 4 May 2025 (PDT)
