  • Some cvars that you will find in this list you will not be able to find yourself in the console, but you can enter them.

Command Default Value Flags Description
_beat cmd Gives "Beat the game" Achievement.
_u cmd Shows the message "Hey don't you even try." Under a certain condition, it gives the player "Unachievable" Achievement. Alternatively, you can follow this guide: https://www.themutegamer.com/guide/the-stanley-parable/unachievable-achievement/
_430 cmd Gives "430" Achievement.

bark cmd Instead of +use sound, it reproduces the sound of a dog barking.

dead cmd Found in map1. When entered by the client, an error appears about a non-existent cvar.

raphael cmd Instead of standard dialogues, the narrator says "Stanley."

Command Default Value Flags Description
sv_cheats 0 Usually used to enable cheats, but instead load the Serious Room map. This can be avoided by using the client.dll from the Demo version of the game, and overwriting the one from the full game.
stanley_animation <value> 0 Blinking in Mariella Ending. Value is a speed.

tsp_enablemenunarrator cmd Works only in The Stanley Parable Demo. Part of the cut ending. Video demonstration
tsp_inhibitcontroller 0 client Disable controllers in apartment ending.
tsp_lightstyle cmd Do nothing. The purpose is unknown.
tsp_paused 0 client
tsp_start cmd Starts scenes when map1 starts. If the client enters it into the console, the message "Hey don't you even try" will appear.
tsp_finish cmd Restarting game, when you finish freedom ending. If the client enters it into the console, the message "Hey don't you even try" will appear.
tsp_crash cmd Crashing the game.
tsp_reload cmd Restarting the game, like "Begin the game again" button. If the client enters it into the console, the message "yeah no" will appear.
tsp_buttonpass cmd The purpose is unknown. If the client enters it into the console, the message "denied!" will appear.
tsp_loungepass cmd If the client enters it into the console, the message "denied!" will appear.
tsp_bosspass cmd If the client enters it into the console, the message "denied!" will appear.
tsp_bossskip cmd If the client enters it into the console, the message "denied!" will appear.
tsp_broompass cmd If the client enters it into the console, the message "denied!" will appear.
