在翻译页面的时候，请使用最新的 {{MultiPage}} 模板进行翻译。模板 {{Lang}} 已经弃用，它会被逐渐淘汰掉。所以，每个翻译页面都应该是主页面的子页面［我们称为语言子页面(Language subpage)]，比如 Half-Life 2/zh，而不是 Half-Life 2:zh-cn。同时，在使用 {{MultiPage}} 时，原英文页面也应该移动到 /en 子页面，比如 Half-Life 2/en。然后，在主页面上（例如 Half-Life 2）放置模板 {{MultiPage}} 以及分类，除此之外不要添加其他内容。
这个新的翻译模板的工作原理是通过识别用户的用户界面语言来自动提供对应语言的页面，当你切换整个用户界面的语言时，页面内容也会相应地变化。所以，当用户界面为中文时（可以在自己的用户设置页设置默认的界面语言），它会自动加载中文页面，而不需要每次都要点击右上方的旗帜图标来切换语言。
