omfgzombieslol omfgzombieslol is a Half-Life 2 mod made by ModDB user Deathrainer in under 2 weeks as a test, before Left 4 Dead Left 4 Dead changed Source Source zombie games forever. It can be played online or offline. The mod has no end goal, and is centered around zombie killing of various kinds.

Gameplay

The gameplay is centered around killing various "new" and "old" headcrab zombies, some of which have been updated to move extremely fast. For each kill, you gain credits which you can spend in the "omfgzombieslol shop". After killing the zombies, you get credits, but no points. So no matter how many zombies you kill or how powerful they may be, you will always stay at 0 points and deaths, unless you are killed, in which case, nothing much happens, except that you go back to the respawn area with all the previous zombies as before, with only your points going down, and you gaining deaths. There are also only 2 playable maps, and in comparison to Half-Life 2: Deathmatch, the only update that has been added is the zombie mode, which retains the original HUD and Multiplayer high score system. The player is frozen when the match ends, and the same map repeats.

Weapons

The choice of weapons and the money they are being paid for is incorrect, because, for instance, the 357 Magnum Revolver costs around 200 and SMG costs 400, but the 357 Magnum is much more powerful than any automatic weapon. Only 1 weapon has had its damage changed, and that is the crowbar, now renamed 'Hammer', without actually changing the way it looks. All that happens when you die in a map is that you get your score to go into minus and you gain deaths in the high scores.
