baseprojectile
is a point entity available in Half-Life 2,
Half-Life 2: Episode One,
Half-Life 2: Episode Two, and
Half-Life 2: Deathmatch.
It is a base class for sprite-based projectiles. It seems to have never been used for anything in Half-Life 2.
This entity should not be confused with CBaseProjectile, which is tied to proj_base.
