Half-Life 2: Remastered Collection is the upcoming remaster of
Half-Life 2, using the
CS:GO engine branch, which introduced features such as CSM (Real-time dynamic shadows) coming from the skybox, and other improvements. It is currently in development and has not been announced yet.
The collection is currently being developed by Fillip Victor, the same developer who developed
Half-Life 2: Update. Additionally, the game will also ships with 64-bit executable, which can improve performance and have full access to system memory (over 4GB RAM) on newer hardware.
