hl2omfgzombieslol is a poorly-coded Half-Life 2 mod made by a ModDB user Deathrainer, which has no goal and can be played with both online and offline modes. Being built by 1 developer in under 2 weeks (supposedly,) the mod has no goal, and is centered around 'mind-less' zombie killing of various kinds. The player being frozen when time has ended in a map marks the repeat of the same map again.
Being that the mod virtually has no goal, you kill various "new" and "old" headcrab zombies (without a point or reason,) some of which had been updated to move extremely fast, despite being slower originally. For this you gain credits which you can spend in the "omfgzombieslol shop". The choice of weapons and the money they are being paid for is incorrect, because, for instance, 357 Magnum Revolver costs around "200" and SMG costs "400", while the 357 Magnum is much more powerful than automatical weapons such as the SMG, the AR2 and the non-automatical Shotgun. None of these weapons ceased any updates in how powerful they are in the mod, and there are merely 5 choices. There are also only 2 maps which are playable, and in comparison to Valve's title Half-Life 2: Deathmatch, the only update that has been added is the poorly-coded zombie mode, while it retains Deathmatch's original HUD and Multiplayer highscores.

The mod's creator, Deathrainer, is currently contemplating leaving it alone, and letting a third-party take over, or to continue updating the modification himself. It's more than likely he'll hand the reigns off to another modder to focus on his other modification, Half Life 2 Tag (ModDB Page Half Life 2 Tag).
