This SP mod for Half-Life 2: Episode Two is currently in alpha development.


<Entropy : Zero 2> Entropy : Zero 2 is an upcoming sequel for <Entropy : Zero> Entropy : Zero which follows up from the events of the first game, putting the player character in some new boots with a cloned consciousness and a Combine Elite body. Set after Half-Life 2 and before Half-Life 2: Episode One, the player is sent on a mission to capture Judith Mossman and uncover her discovery in the Arctic.

A demo was released on ModDB at the end of March 2020.


Entropy : Zero 2 entered development in February 2018. The story of Entropy : Zero 2 differs greatly now to what it was in 2018. The original story took place after the events of Half-Life 2 Episode 2. Players took on the role of Bad Cop once again, tasked with returning to City 10 to detonate Pillar 10, in an attempt to create another portal to the Combine Overworld. Players would wake up in a fragment of the Citadel in a ruined City 17, and would have to make their way to Wallace Breen's remains to collect an arming key. City 10 was to be a "warped and distorted nightmare" of temporal anomalies, due to the stasis event triggered at the end of Entropy : Zero. Technical limitations at the time prevented progression, and so the narrative was re-written to better suit the available resources.

In November 2018 a new story had been drafted and work started on the mod proper. The new narrative has since persisted, but has remained flexible throughout development.

Entropy : Zero 2 entered official alpha testing on August 1st 2020.


Entropy : Zero 2 is being developed by a team led by Breadman, the creator of the first game. It continues to use music created by Spencer Baggett and content from Human Error and various contributors. Team members include Trivvy, CW3D, 1upD, Blixibon, Kralich, Cyonsia, Spencer Baggett, and Sergeant Stacker.

Entropy : Zero 2 runs on <Mapbase> Mapbase.
