Upcoming revisions
Unrelated court documents from the 2022 FTC case against Microsoft includes plans for mid-generation console refreshes planned in 2024. The updated Xbox Series X (codenamed "Brooklin") would feature a cylindrical design that draws less power, 2TB of internal storage and improved Wi-Fi. The Series S redesign, codenamed "Ellewood", would retain the same design, reduced power, and 1 TB of storage. Both console refreshes are to ship with a new Xbox controller.
