BSP stands for Binary Space Partitioning.
It can also refer to the following compiled map formats, which have the .BSP
file extension:
- BSP30, used by GoldSrc.
- BSP29, used by Quake, of which GoldSrc's BSP format is based upon
- BSP2, a modified version of BSP29/BSP30 with expanded limits.
- VBSP, used by Source 1.
- BSP38, used by Quake II, of which Source 1's BSP format is based upon.
- rBSP, the modified version of Source 1's BSP format used by Titanfall
