Respawn Entertainment, LLC is an American video game development studio founded in 2010 by Jason West and Vince Zampella and owned by Electronic Arts (EA) since 2017. They have previously known for co-founding Infinity Ward, known for Call of Duty series, which uses the IW Engine that was heavily modified from the Quake 3 Engine (aka id Tech 3). Today, Respawn is known for Titanfall series, and it's spinoff, Apex Legends.
