What is JBmod?
JBMod is the earliest 
Source mod ever to be released. It was developed shortly after the release of Source SDK, between 1st and 9th of December 2004[1]. The mod is a predecessor to 
Garry's Mod and is very similar to it. Its main features include the return of the "Physics Manipulator" (otherwise known as the "Physgun") and the "Sticky Launcher" (or the "Sticky-Bomb Launcher"), which was removed from the final version of 
Half-Life 2, and more [2].
Brief History
JBMod was released by JB55, on December 2004, only a few months after Half-Life 2 was released.
JBmod was updated until JB55 and his team stopped working on it, then, Snakez, JB55's friend continued JBmod and started a troll, saying that 0.6 would release and destroy Garry's Mod, which even caused the creator of Garry's Mod to update the game in fear of getting beaten by JBmod, until in 2022, he finally released JBmod on steam after Ratlobber made a video about Snakez's troll.

JBMod is free but it requires Half-Life 2 to install, Jbmod is 3 Gigabytes and has an workshop for mods. the current version is 0.5.4, 0.6 is always coming soon.
