Quick mass edits
Hello.
I noticed that after I started cleaning up navboxes, replacing Software, and tweaking other page elements, you were among a few users who tuned in and participated in that. In the process you've made edits to a bunch of pages I would've gotten to, so thanks for taking some of the load off.
I've implemented a new Game Infobox for game pages specifically, as I felt SoftwareBox wasn't quite solving what I wanted. I plan to use the infobox to put some relevant info for quicker access and unload some of page text (like sys requirements).
Because I anticipate that you may want to follow example (as I've so far used it on Half-Life's page), all I ask is we wait for a bit before putting it into conveyor mode. Let it marinate a bit... make sure it feels okay and all.
If you weren't planning anything like that, just ignore what I said.
Have a nice day. Cvoxalury (talk) 06:58, 21 June 2024 (PDT)
: Thanks. I'm still trying to cleaning up everything the best as I can and making sure the pages is readable without tons of templates cluttering together. --leonidakarlach (talk) 07:32, 21 June 2024 (PDT)

Can i get the source file for the Valve Engines diagram?

There are some branches that aren't on that diagram (These ones), can I get the source file for that image? Or if it isnt possible, can you add these branches to the image? -Mr. System Error(T - C) 14:03, 18 January 2025 (PST)

Too many to fit into one image and also games (even if it's introducing new engine features), shouldn't be added here unless they are incompatible with each other or made major modifications (there may be some exceptions through like Svengine, which are made for one game but have major modifications that made it incompatible with GoldSrc).
For example, HL2: Update shouldn't be listed here since it's just older version of Source 2013 SP, and same for PUNT, Tactical Intervention and The Stanley Parable, which made minor modifications to Portal 2 engine. About GoldSrc aswell, console ports shouldn't be marked as branches, and Spirit of Half-Life is basically Mapbase but for GoldSrc. --leonidakarlach (talk) 21:02, 18 January 2025 (PST)
