cpu_level / gpu_level is a console variable available in all
Source games.
Determines whether to render entities with following keyvalues. Usually changed by Effect details (cpu_level) and Shader details (gpu_level) in game settings.
- Minimum / Maximum Effect Details Level (mincpulevel / maxcpulevel) <integer choices> (in all games since
) - Don't render for players with Effect Details levels that exceed the minimum or maximum.
Choices - 0: Default ("Low" for
