Collaborate is an upcoming [[Half-Life 2]] MP team play modification.
Collaborate is an upcoming [[Half-Life 2]] MP teamplay modification with NPCs. There are 2 teams, Team Combine and Team Humans. Both teams have a commander, who is able to spawn & control NPCs, ammocrates, traps and more. Both teams will need to complete objectives to win the game. Work together, side by side, with NPCs & players to complete your objectives and before your opponents of the other team do.
The focus is working together but the goals can change and so can the role you play.
Cooperating with the solider beside you fighting the enemy regardless of who's an NPC and who's a player, that’s collaboration.


There will be two game play types, coop and team play.
Are the rebels fighting to overrun a combine base or are both teams are trying to outlast the other? Fight with all you have because you’re up against real opponents.
In the coop mode all the players work together as one team. The goal is to work together and follow the levels storyline through to the finish. Are you Combine subjugating the rebel outpost or rebels liberating a prison? Whatever the goal every player is your ally and your enemy is straight ahead.
Team play will consist of a combine and a rebel team. Each team will consist of a Commander, Players, and NPC's. Commanders are special players that can control and create NPC forces to aid you or hinder the enemy. The objective is for each team to compete to complete their own objective and prevent the enemy from achieving theirs.
