XenEngine -> BMS
(using Template:Message) Hey. You recently created an article about XenEngine, you considered it appropriate to highlight this in a separate article? given that this engine is exclusively used only in one game and we do not have any special documentation on it. Is there a need to do this separately from the same BMS article. In which all this would look more appropriate. --NOUG4AT (talk) 18:41, 30 Jan 2024 (UTC)
(using Template:Message) Sorry, my bad. Am I not allowed to do that? I just felt like it having it's own page would be neat, since there's barely any mention of it. Black Mesa uses said engine so I linked the single 2 words that said the name in the article to the XenEngine one. --EvilEMG (talk) 23:21, 30 Jan 2024 (UTC)
(using Template:Message) This branch is actually used by only one game... And having a section about Xen Engine on the BMS page would be more appropriate, and it would also be more appropriate to have a separate article about Xen Engin if at least several games functioned on it... It’s one thing when we have a CSGO branch, quite a few projects are built on it, but here is a branch that is used by literally one game... --NOUG4AT (talk) 4:49, 31 Jan 2024 (UTC)
(using Template:Message) Yeah, I'm aware of it being used by only one game, I even mentioned it in article itself. I figured why not have one? --EvilEMG (talk) 8:48, 31 Jan 2024 (UTC)
(using Template:Message) This is some kind of unprofessionalism. It is useful to have information about this; no one is saying that what you created is bad. The fact is that this is too MUCH for a separate article, because we don’t know much about this branch, besides, then let’s create an article conditionally for the Nightfire branch of Goldsrc, in fact, it is also a modified branch, but it is used by one game.
I see that you recently started creating articles, so this is how Wikipedia usually justifies the creation of something “why not?”, sorry, I couldn’t resist. --NOUG4AT (talk) 8:01, 31 Jan 2024 (UTC)
