Day of Defeat: Source is a remake of the online multiplayer WWII first-person shooter Day of Defeat on the Source engine. Similar to the original, players assume the role of light/assault/heavy infantry, sniper or machine-gunner class, and missions are based on historical operations. Unlike its predecessor however, the player can only choose the American Soldiers for the Allies, and not the British.
Day of Defeat: Source currently runs on Source 2013 Multiplayer.

Bots
Unlike Counter-Strike: Source or
Left 4 Dead,
Day of Defeat: Source does not have proper built-in bot support. While there are console commands to spawn and manipulate bots in the map, the resulting bots are only intended for debugging, and do not do anything besides run around randomly.
RCBot2 is a MetaMod plugin which adds proper bot support to DoD:S. Unlike CS_Bot and NextBot, RCBot2 does not use an automatically generated navmesh, and instead requires hand-placed waypoints. Nonetheless, the downloads for RCBot2 v1.5 and newer include waypoints for all vanilla maps and over 100 custom maps.
