This category lists pages which contain external links that appear to be broken. Pages are placed in this category with Template:Brokenlink ({{brokenlink}}).
Once the links have been confirmed as dead, rather than temporarily down, it is preferable that the content they linked to be replaced in some way (a link to a mirror or similar article), rather than simply deleting the dead link.
