Not tryna be controversial, just stating opinions
(using Template:Message) Hey there, not tryna be controversial, but i just don't think this template belongs here. Gender is not really a thing that is a necessary topic for a wiki about mapmaking and game design. We don't really need to know the gender of some random mapper editing the env_sprite
page to add an obscure bug, and it just seems like one more thing that can start arguments and strife. The last thing I want is to have someone be in an edit war and be like "Oh shut up <insert gender-specific offensive term here>". If this was around in the time of User:HammerEditor, that whole argument would likely have gotten a lot messier.
Again, not tryna be hateful or anything, I just don't think that it belongs here. --Equalizer5118 (talk) 15:57, 25 Aug 2023 (UTC)
