Nihilanth is the final Xen boss in Template:Game name and also the eighteenth chapter of the game.

Quotes from Template:Game name suggest that the Nihilanth was a Combine product. Judging by its appearance, it is a cybernetically and genetically enhanced Alien Controller that had been controlling the Vortigaunts for eons, much like Breen controlled the human race before Gordon Freeman managed to destroy the citadel of City 17.
