Half-Life: Alyx ships with two model editors in-engine. Model Editor is the legacy form of the two, which has been around since Dota 2's Workshop Tools, and ModelDoc, which is what Valve has been using internally since then. Valve has not provided much documentation on ModelDoc, but hopefully as the community digs their toes in more, they can find out more info on it.
