The Vortex Engine (Vengence χ Engine) is a third-party,open-source modification to the Source Engine 2013 Branch with support for Source 2013 Multiplayer engine branch and singleplayer support (note that the engine is still in heavy development) it is a customized engine branch with advanced graphics, the developer (GuestSneezeOSDev) gained much more knowledge while working on the engine, which allowed for more improvements and support for new weapons
