(using Template:Message)  Hello! I actually originally created this page on pinsplashes website, discovered this myself. All the features mentioned here are true of all the linked base entity types at the bottom, and should be applicable to all source games that use weapons in a similar fashion to how Half Life 2 did it (particularly notable for cases like basehlcombatweapon, which exists in half life 2). Also, I found out that Portal 2 does indeed have valid ammo types; all the Half Life 2 ammotypes are in the game, but their convars are all set to 0 by default. Copying skill.cfg over from Half Life 2 or manually setting the convars should fix the damage problem! I'd edit the article directly, but I'm not really used the wiki conventions.
