Cannot Find This Folder of "\SteamApps\username\sourcesdk\bin\orangebox\bin\resource"

I am trying to find this folder of "\SteamApps\username\sourcesdk\bin\orangebox\bin\resource", but I am not finding it. What shall I do? P.S. I am not finding either one of these either: "...\SteamApps\username\sourcesdk\bin\resource\ and "...\SteamApps\username\half-life 2\hl2\resource\".Gamingforfun365 (talk) 23:43, 6 June 2015 (UTC)

Where is SourceScheme.res? Do i need to download it or is it already installed with Source SDK. I have spent hours trying to fix this stupid problem and i give up. I am an idiot so explain it as simple as possible. Spike41 (talk) 22:31, 26 March 2016 (UTC)

Since the Steampipe 2013 update, the old Source SDK tools and launcher are broken, and should under no circumstances be used. Instead, you must open up Hammer from SteamApps/Game Folder/bin. Also, remember to sign your discussion additions with four tilde notation marks ~~~~ so other can see who added it and when. I hope this helps.

Thanks but now when i click SDKLauncher.exe it says "SDKLauncher requires -game on the command line." and when i click hammer.exe in source 2009, ep1, or orange box it says "Can't find steam app user info." Spike41 (talk) 22:33, 26 March 2016 (UTC)

You're not supposed to launch the Hammer that comes with the Source SDK anymore at all. Instead, as I mentioned earlier, you go to SteamApps/common/Game Base Directory/bin/hammer.exe. So, if the game you're mapping for is Half-Life 2 for example, you open up the hammer.exe file found in SteamApps/common/Half-Life 2/bin. Also, try to write everything you want to have said in one edit. If you need to see what it looks like before saving the page, use the preview button at the bottom of the page.
