Users in Category:Banned Spammers

I have noticed that the user pages in the Category:Banned Spammers must be performed a null edit and then these user pages will be added into the Category:Banned Users. Though these pages appear that they are in the Category:Banned Users, they are in the Category:Banned Spammers instead of Category:Banned Users before performing a null edit.

So I have perform many null edits on these pages in Category:Banned Spammers, but it's hard to performing null edits for these pages because of the excessive workload (too many pages). Performing these actions frequently will also trigger editing cooldown. We may need a bot to do it.

No worries, I just whipped up a quick and dirty AutoHotKey script to use a single mouse click and a couple keyboard shortcuts to get this job done slowly. Gonna run it and let it do its thing.

Thanks a lot. By refreshing the page periodically, I can see the number changing. This gives me more time to do other things.

Category entry count is now sub 1000 (around 800-something entries left). Script had got hung up somehow at some point while I was asleep so I restarted it before I left for work an hour ago and it's now chugging along through them all. Hopefully within the next 10 hours it will be done.

Something's happened lmao. My script wasn't perfect so I'm guessing it hit a cloudflare page and got itself stuck. There's currently only 800 entries left though so that's some good progress from where it was at when I started it (2000+). Unfortunately I am at work for the next 9 hours or so, so there won't be any more purges happening until I get home and restart the script again.

I fixed the script up yesterday and we are now officially down below the last 200 entries. The Banned Spammers category should be empty within the hour. Edit: So the script stopped again for some reason at about 165 entries left. I, being unable to access my home PC at the moment, could not fix the script. So I just manually wiped the remaining 165 entries on my phone. Category's empty now.
